Why Waffles?

The "Klockargarden" begins its history in the mid 19th century, which was part of the Church's essence. Grödinge Church is a stone church dating back to the 14th century, beautifully placed on a hill in the landscape. Around the church, a parish center with the bell ringers farmhouse, school and parish home gradually developed. At "Klockargarden", the bell ringer and teachers have lived and much later, the "Grödingegruppen", an artistic collective, has been working with their art and last but not least, "Grödinge Antik & design" with Sweden's largest ceramic collection, which now moved far north of Sweden leave "Klockargarden" in our care. 

It is an honor for us to take over this enchanting story that stretches back to 1860. We have experienced the four seasons here and have a clear vision of what we desire. For us it was crystal clear! It's something genuinely and simply delicious with crispy waffles. We want to offer an experience that you deserve. Our vision is home-baked, home-cooked with love and gold-plated porcelain rim that takes you on a journey in history!
