About us

Klockargarden has a rich history and has been part of Grodinge church village since the 19th century. Over the years, it has been home to a school, a residence and creative activities. Today, we carry that legacy forward through Klockargardens Vaffleri - a garden cafe where history, homemade pastries and crispy waffles come together.

When we took over Klockargarden, we wanted to create a place that feels warm, personal and genuine. With us, crispy waffles, homemade pastries and genuine care are at the heart of everything - served in a historic setting where the details are allowed to stand out.

How the name came about

When we started Klockargardens Vaffleri in 2018, we wanted a name that reflected the craftsmanship and feeling behind what we do. During a conversation, Frederick's brother Henrik came up with the word Vaffleri, and it immediately felt right. At the time, there were no other businesses using that word. For us, it captures both tradition, care and the joy of something simple done really well.
